As Sales Director for David Wilson Homes (DWH) North West, one of the best parts of of my role is knowing that we have helped customers to get on to the property ladder and that they are enthusing about how much they love their new home.

Good sales figures are great – but happy customers are what it’s all about, which is why I’m delighted to share the news that we, along with our sister company, Barratt Homes, have once again been awarded the maximum 5 stars in the industry’s annual customer satisfaction rating run by the Home Builders Federation (HBF).  This is the seventh consecutive year we’ve achieved this -  more than any other national housebuilder.

The independent UK-wide survey, completed by over 45,000 UK homebuyers, revealed that over 90 per cent of local respondents would recommend us to a friend.  The high customer satisfaction comes from checking more than 400 details throughout the build process - and three separate inspections are involved before any front door keys are handed over.

This attention to detail, along with thoughtful design and high levels of insulation to keep running costs down, have helped get us where we are today.  It’s fantastic for everyone at DWH to be recognised nationally by the HBF – which is the voice of the home building industry in England and Wales, with its members delivering around 80% of all the new homes built each year.

But of course we won’t be resting on our laurels in 2016!  Being ‘the best’ takes consistent hard work and commitment, so we’ll continue to listen to our customers and keep striving to push the boundaries of quality in all aspects of what we do.
