Work to create a stunning new canal side residential development in Runcorn, Cheshire, is now well underway, and this Saturday 16 April sees the launch of David Wilson Homes’ (North West) Lea View show homes.
The new development is located on Walsingham Drive and is 9.6 acres in size, with planning consent secured for a total of 106 three, four and five bedroom homes.
Lea View is being built with family life in mind featuring a range of three, four and five bedroom homes located just outside the historic town of Runcorn. Each home will feature open plan, modern living spaces – ideal for entertaining friends and raising a family. What’s more, there are long peaceful walks along the Bridgewater Canal, just around the corner.
The Lea View development will be surrounded by fascinating places to explore. Phoenix Park is a short walk along Bridgewater Canal – whether it’s feeding the ducks, jogging or a kick about with the kids, there’s something for all ages. A little further afield you’ll find the lively town of Runcorn that offers everything you might need along with motorway and rail access, making day trips and commuting really easy.
Alongside the much needed mix of new homes, DWH North West is also building new bus stops along the main access road that runs through the development. The housebuilder will also make a substantial contribution to Halton Council of an estimated £14,500 per home – a total of around £1.5 million pounds. The funds will be used to help fund community infrastructure, including road improvements and education provision.
DWH North West Sales Director, Steve Jackson, said:
“Even at this early stage, we are already seeing lots of early interest in the development, and the reaction to the wide variety of house types from local buyers is very positive.’’
Homes are priced from £264,995. A range of purchasing options such as Help to Buy and Part Exchange are available.
DWH North West has this month celebrated being named as a five star housebuilder for a record seventh year in a row by the House Builders Federation (HBF) – the only national housebuilder to achieve such an accolade.
