Fast-acting Stockport house hunters have already snapped up 14 properties at Countryside’s highly anticipated Blackberry Point development in Brinnington. Prices start from only £164,995.

Forming part of Stockport Council’s wider regeneration plans for the area, Blackberry Point follows the success of Countryside’s nearby Blackberry Vale development, which sold out in less than 12 months.

Located on Polletts Avenue, this new development will bring 166 new freehold homes onto the open-market for the area, all of which will be available through the Help to Buy scheme.  Plans for Blackberry Point include a selection of Countryside’s most successful three-bedroom home designs - such as the New Stamford, the Ellesmere and the New Weaver.

Deborah Hughes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at Countryside, commented: “Blackberry Point is already off to a flying start, following the success of its predecessor Blackberry Vale. We have a long history of transforming areas into thriving communities and our aim for this next phase is to bring even more high quality housing into the area, particularly for first time buyers. This, combined with our approach to community building, will see the rapid emergence of an attractive development that is both affordable and attainable for a wide range of buyers.”

Those interested in viewing the new homes at Blackberry Point can visit the nearby show village on Blackberry Lane, Brinnington, Stockport, SK5 8LA.
