Many local producers have stalls here and the produce on offer includes everything from organic meats, traditional pies, fish and shell fish, locally brewed beers, even luxury body care, arts and crafts and jewellery stalls.

But there’s so much more to the town than handy shopping. Take a walk around the town and you’ll discover the many historical buildings linking the town to its rich cotton industry heritage. The Bank building and famous Clock Tower are some of the finest examples of Edwardian architecture in the county.

With Blackburn, Preston, Burnley, even Manchester so easy to get to, you’re never far from all the attractions and entertainment. Whether you fancy a day or a night out, you’ll love having these close by.
